Landing Page

A web page that is designed to “sell” something to the person “landing” there. What is being “sold” could be a free item or a paid item depending on the objective of the landing page; either to gather an email or payment details for example. A landing page typically does not have a traditional page heading, navigation links or anything else to detract from the single, focused purpose of the page. The user should only be able to sign up or move on.
